And the days go on. . .

There's really not much happening right now. I had a lovely Saturday this past weekend while DH went on a father-son trip to NYC with his dad. I thoroughly cleaned the house, rearranged my cookbook bookcase so that it now only hold cookbooks and not Tom Clancy novels, walked the pup, walked the cat, repaired dog toys (oh, the carnage!), baked a peach buckle (Heaven in a cake pan), and watched some britcoms. In other words, I got things done.

This means, of course, that I won't be able to get anything done for at least the next 4 - 6 weekends. It always works out that way whether we plan it or not. We have things planned for the next two weekends, but for the following ones, I'm sure something will come up.

On the TTC front, nothing new. No PMS yet, so it looks like it's starting late again this cycle as it did the last. No complaints. It means a luteal phase longer than my usual 11 - 12 days (and occasional 10 days). As long as it's not too long, I'm happy.

I have had two dreams that I missed my appointment with Dr. Stegman coming up on Thursday. It's probably because I'm so excited that it's almost here. I feel like we've been running in place since my laparoscopy in September. Now we can get the ball rolling again. C'mon Thursday!

Hey, my phone is ringing again. I'm at lunch! I love being able to ignore it, especially recently. People have been incredibly dense lately. Heaven forbid that they should figure things out themselves. The least little problem, and they call for help rather than researching answer. The questions they ask . . . . I don't always know the answer, but I look it up. If I can find it, so can they. Use a little initiative people! The Internet is your friend! Use it!

Can you tell I'm swamped at work? The phone becomes my mortal enemy when I have more to do than I can handle. Callers beware. I'm not in the mood.

I am, however, in the mood for more peach buckle. It’s calling my name. Mmmmmmm.

Oh, I am excited to hear how your appointment goes with Dr. Stegman. That is going to be so nice to get a game plan from him...YEAH!

I like your dog too. What kind do you have? i can't tell from the picture. Oddie is a pug/rascal. HAHA.
That is great you got a lot done while Dh was away. I tend to put everything off for the last minute ;)

Sadie is a long-haired, black and tan dapple dachshund. A tweener. She's too big to be a miniature dachshund and to small to be a standard. But we love her all the same.
