It just dawned on me this morning that I don't have my usual PMS, starving-from-morning-to-night munchies. The light went on while I was researching progesterone supplementation (yes, I know, you'd think I'd have learned my lesson not to research these things after learning about that thyroid pill). Evidently, when estrogen is high relative to progesterone, it contributes to PMS, causing moodiness, hunger, and a myriad of other fun things. No hunger . . . except for the usual I'm-bored munchies. I like this.
Oh, we had a visit from Santa yesterday. He came driving through in a fire truck, lights flashing, and siren blaring, handing out candy canes to one and all. :) Our township does this every year, with the fire trucks covering every neighborhood in the township over the course of a week. It's something I look forward to. You can't help but smile. :)
EDIT: Okay, part of the reason for the lack of never-ending hunger could be the spotting signalling that AF is impending (once I take the last progesterone suppository, of course). Still, getting through the entire week without the insatiable cravings . . . priceless.

I never noticed that about the P4 supps. Interesting.
The town where I used to live did that on Christmas Eve and it was so sweet. The only problem is that we did not know about it our first year and kept hearing the sirens and said a prayer for whosever house was on fire!
I remember when I was little Santa would come around on a fire engine too. He used to hand out stockings(those clear plastic ones) full of goodies. I think when the budget started getting tight...they quit that. It brings a smile to my face to think about that. I used to get so excited!!! Thanks for bringing that up!
We were eating lunch at a chinese restaurant the day after Thanksgiving and Santa came in and went around to all the tables- even ours that had no kids!!
