Happy Thanksgiving!

The things for which I am thankful:

  1. The best husband in the universe, incredibly thoughtful and patient and perfectly wonderful.
  2. My girls, Sadie and Muggles, our little characters and two amazing little pets.
  3. My job. It's not the greatest, but I don't dread going into work in the morning, and I'm not unemployed.
  4. Our comfortable home.
  5. My books and the opportunity to read them.
  6. Our health.
  7. The opportunity to appreciate the simple things in life.
  8. Stuffing and lots of it.
  9. The Christmas season and Christmas music.
  10. Pasta in any form, especially gnocchi, my current craving.
  11. My family (of course). They're not perfect, but we're a close family, always putting our noses in each other's business. What else are families for?
  12. The return of Spring with its warmth and flowers after a cold, blustery, gray Winter.
  13. Friends. I haven't many - none particularly close - but I appreciate what I have.
  14. Warm, comfortable memories of a happy childhood. We didn't have much, but we never wanted for anything we needed. We had enough.
  15. Our wedding day, the best day of my life thus far.

Well said...I'm so looking forward to spring already...ugh! When I feel this way so soon...it makes for a long winter. I need to find the beauty of winter..hmmm...no tornadoes?

Thanks for sharing your list. My list would be the same except I'm thankful I was able to go to Grad school at this point in my life and look forward to a rewarding career. Blessings.

I think actually getting up the courage/motivation to go to grad school is something to be thankful for indeed. :) It's hard to get back i nthe groove after being out of school for awhile.
