You're getting very sleepy . . .

Well, I am, anyway. I don't know what it is, but for the past week or so, I've been going to bed either freezing or perfectly comfortable and waking up roasting several times a night. Of course, when I throw off the comforter, it doesn't take me long to get cold. I can't win, and I am exhausted.

I'm throwing this question out to the world: anyone else with this problem? I'm wondering if it's the progesterone or the thyroid medication. It's happened before, but I never noted the timing.

Oh, could it be peri-menopause? No . . .well, maybe, but I don't think so. No, I remember this happening a few years ago. I want one night - okay, more than one - of straight sleep.

All I know that since I've started the T3 thyroid stuff...I've been having problems with being in "hot" classrooms. I get such migraine...and I can't seem to regulate my temp. My night class is so warm and stuffy and sometimes when I sub...I just "melt". I'm much better in a cold room. hmmm...??? I know menap.ause brings on hot fl.ashes but I think it may be too soon for that.

I am on thyroid meds and I always have this happen during my luteal phase. I don't think it's the meds, I think it's the progesterone rise...or maybe a combination fo the two? I wake up sweating to the point where the neck of my shirt is drenched. I started to worry it was peri-menopause too. Gosh I hope not.

I don't know, but hot flashes are very distinctive. (I was on lupron...) They're very strong and very sudden and if you woke up with one, you would be able to feel it. Also, they would happen mostly during the day. So I don't think it's that.
