This is a non-IF and non-pregnancy post. I just feel like writing about my girls, Sadie and Muggles. They are the cutest little things on four paws. Why? No particular reason, I just think they're cute.
Mugs, for instance, slept on our bed yesterday afternoon. We had the covers pulled up and a throw folded on top. DH walked in, took a look at the bed, and called to me down the hall. I walked in to see . . . nothing. He pulled me to the front of the bed. Ah. Mugs was lying half way under the throw. The only parts of her we could see were her rump, a back paw, and a tail. At that, we could barely see that much. Striped comforter, striped cat, excellent camouflage.
Sadie, our dear dachshund, and I took a walk around the cul-de-sac after an interval of rain. The ground was soaked and the worms were lying along the road and sidewalk. The nut pup has this thing about worms: she loves them. As we neared the mid-point of our walk, she dragged me into the street, sniffing industriously at the asphalt. Then she ducked her head and proceeded to cheerfully roll in a puddle. She'd found a dead worm and was beside herself.
I realize these are only stories only a devoted pet parent could enjoy. Actually, the only ones who could truly enjoy them are DH and me as they're our pets and we find them perfectly adorable. But I don't care: it doesn't stop me from wanting to brag about our girls to the world.

So sweet. I am a proud furbaby mom too.....so I totally get that!
Furbabies are the best.
Aw.
I'm a total dog chic, but can't have one because of my allergies, so I love to read about everyone's love for them! I can live vicariously...
