I'm so tired. So tired. It's insomnia. I cannot stay asleep until the alarm goes off. It ruins any attempt at sleeping in on the weekend. I'm not complaining - really - I'm simply amazed that I could have insomnia this suddenly. I know the reason, but before this, I've never had a problem with it except for the rare day here and there.
Now I understand how insomnia can be such a problem for people. I could never comprehend what would drive a person to try sleep medicines knowing their possible side effects. Well, no Unisom - or worse - for me. We'll try a nice mug of warm milk with honey and vanilla tonight and see what that does. At the very least, it makes for a tasty evening snack.
Hm, it could be I'm turning into my mom, or worse yet, my grandmother. Nanny could sleep maybe 5 hours a night. It's interesting that my grandfather could nap all day, off and on, and never have a problem falling asleep. I remember hearing him snoring on the couch many a lazy summer afternoon. Nanny would walk over and put her cold hands on him, and you'd hear the aggrieved yelp, "Your hands are cold!" Still makes me smile. Opposites certainly attracted in their case.

So cute about your grandma! I'll have to try that on my hubby...!
I have had trouble sleeping too. I get up to pee every night now, and then I can't fall back to sleep. My DH reminds me to keep the lights off and even if I can't sleep to rest, because my body needs it. Hope you find your zzz's soon!
I can relate as well...I mean with getting up to pee 2x a night I am exhausted at work. I hope the warm glass of milk helps you. It is one of my favorites.
Praying for you,
Amber
I hope you are on your way to getting good sleep tonight. I suffer from insomnia and it isn't fun. My mind won't stop racing.
Now, go get your sleep, Lady! You've got a few months to make the most of it!
