:)

167. The heart rate measured 167 which is a good, strong rate for 8.1 weeks. I'm so happy. I was hoping for 146 at minimum, a low normal. I'm thrilled with 167.

I was actually able to see Junior today, all 1.62 - 1.7 cm of him/her. The u/s tech angled the monitor so I could see the baby; the flickering, little heart; stubby limbs; and a face. I swear I saw a face when she switched it to 3D mode. I can't believe I really saw a baby. Ours. And we have a CD with the images. Our baby's first pictures. Incredible.

They had a bomb threat yesterday. An actual bomb threat. No bomb, thank heavens. Whoever feels it perfectly right and proper to make a bomb threat is a truly pathetic piece of humanity. Honestly.
